1. Project Thawalama – 16–17 June 2000

Description: Construction of underground bunkers in Janakapura and Ranabapura for civilian protection.

2. Project Thawalama – 22 August 2000

Cost: Rs. 229,500
Description: Completion of 15–17 underground bunkers for civilians and ongoing school bunkers.
Key Participants: Lt Col A.S. Amarasekera, Wing Commander Ranjith Ratnapala.


3. Project Thawalama – 10–11 November 2001

Cost: Rs. 317,500
Description: Sramadana and health camp; distribution of dry rations, toys, and medicines in Ampara villages.

4. Project Thawalama – 10 & 17 February 2002

Cost: Rs. 151,400
Description: Distribution of dry rations, school books, uniforms, and spectacles; villagers educated on NGO activities.

5. Project Thawalama – 8–9 June 2002

Description: Inspection of Kuda Kandamalawa tank restoration; hospital curtain donation; loan recovery.

6. Project Thawalama – 12–16 January 2003

Cost: Rs. 175,000
Description: Establishment of computer training centre; educating villagers about unethical conversions.

7. Project Thawalama – Early 2003 (Computer Training Centres)

Description: Addressing computer training and Dhamma students; small equipment and lecture support.

Description: Inspection of Nuwaragalatenna tank restoration; first installment released.

9. Project Thawalama – 19–20 March 2003

Description: Inspecting and repairing computers at Pirivenas; rice mill loan issued.

10. Project Thawalama – 28–29 March 2003

Cost: Rs. 205,000
Description: Housing inspections and dry ration distribution; school materials provided to correct previous omissions.

Description: Establishment of two computer centres; transport of computers; addressing unethical conversions.

Description: Housing project in Dematagoda; preschool support; inspecting restoration work; distributing leaflets.

13. Project Thawalama – 27–28 August 2003

Cost: Rs. 140,000
Description: Plantain cultivation project and exploring self-employment for soldiers’ spouses; land inspection for housing.

14. Project Thawalama – 2–3 September 2003

Description: Introductory visits to villages; TDF provided transport for potential project planning.
